Since 1970, our family has been building more than just houses in the Richland and Lexington area—we’ve been building a reputation for doing things the right way. As a second generation builder, Jody Morris has over 25 years of experience crafting custom homes, additions, and renovations that truly fit the way you live. Morris Homes helps handle every detail, from the first ideas to the final inspection.
You’ll see Jody on the job site nearly every day making sure things are done right and keeping the lines of communication wide open. Unlike a big corporation, we are a family business that builds your home with the same level of care and respect we would use if it were our own. We take pride in being easy to reach and even easier to talk to through every step of your project.

South Carolina has been my home from the day I was born. As a University of South Carolina graduate and second generation builder, serving the people of South Carolina has been a lifelong passion of mine. That passion and my father, Joe Morris, led me to building homes for the residents of this great state. With over 25 years under my belt, I still treat every project with the same personal care that my father and I did all those years ago. I am committed to consistent communication and on site leadership in any project Morris Homes helps make a reality. No matter the project, I stay available and ready to answer any questions, provide advice, and lead my team to help make your dreams come to life.
Noah Morris, Superintendent
As Jody’s son, Noah grew up around job sites and sets of plans. Also a University of South Carolina graduate, Noah’s love for South Carolinians and the state run deep. These days he’s usually out on the job, walking the house, talking with trades, and keeping everyone on the same page. He’s focused on clean work, clear updates, and making sure the details are done right. When he’s not perfecting your job site, you can find him out on Lake Murray fishing or surfing a wake.
